Christmas at the Marsh House 2008

We love Christmas around the Marsh house!  Here are a few pics from Christmas this year.
Riley helped me cut, bake and frost sugar cookies!
Mom and dad came up on Christmas Eve.  We attempted to go to Christmas Eve Mass, but got the time wrong.  Oops.  So we came home and opened up one gift.  The boys opened their Christmas Jammies and dad opened his floating target game.  Boys and their toys!
Here's Carter opening his jammies!
A little target practice!
Boys in their Christmas jammies in front of the tree...a new Christmas tradition!
Too cute for words!
"Mom! Santa came!"  Santa brought the Spiderman Web Blaster Riley asked for!
Opening the stocking.
Santa brought Carter a new Excersaucer.
Auntie Cyndi made photo posters for everyone.  Mom and Dad's was pictures of the cabin.  Way cool!
Cousin Brian sent me a Bento box from Japan, where he is stationed.  It's so cute!
Riley got Steve's Hot Wheels from when he was little, and we got him a "Trick Track" for them.
Keith and Holli came over for more gift opening and dinner!
Safety first foam swords from Charline!  Would have gone great with the "Sword in the Stone" movie mom got Riley, except that when we went to watch it, we discovered that someone had taken it out of the cardboard sleeve, slit the plastic, and stolen the movie!
The Marsh's came over for Christmas dinner too.  We had a Cajun boil with King Crab, shrimp, hot sausage, corn and potatoes.  It was delicious!
Two Stormtroopers were on hand for Christmas too.
Dalton and Payton enjoyed their first Christmas.  Here, Dalton had been chewing on Payton's hand.  Gavin was being fed by Grandma.
Baby madness!  Carter on the mat, Gavin with Grandma, and Dalton and Payton on the blanket.
Riley finally crashed on the floor while watching Shrek 2!
The day after Christmas, playing with our new toys.  Carter got a Bumbo seat from Gran-Gran and General.  He likes sitting up and "participating!"
Steve and Riley playing Hot Wheels.  Steve has enjoyed checking out all his old cars.  He has the General Lee, and TWO of Daisy Duke's jeep!

It was a great Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

We wanted to have a big holiday party with all our friends this year, and Steve came up with the name "Merry Drinksmas!"  Here are a ton of pics of some of our buddies who came to celebrate with us.  We had about 30 people over, and everyone had a great time.  I think everyone was ready to blow off a little holiday steam with some great food, yummy drinks and most of all, fantastic friends!
Kristen, Charline and Andy
Jenn and Nick
Justin and Troy
Lindsay, Mary, JD and Tim arrive!
CK and Me!
Matt and Christina Scholbrock -- Christina teaches 5th grade at GP.  This was their first experience at the Marsh house!
JD, Mary and Lindsay
King-a-ling-a-ding-dong
IS Sterne and me!
Jenn and CK
Julie and Troy Evans -- they're Ty and Tanner's parents...first time we got to hang out with them without the kiddos running amok!
Steve and I NEVER get pictures of just the two of us whenever we're all hanging out...so I made sure we got one taken, finally!
The Kings!
Lisa, Christina and Kristen
Steve and Terrance.  Terrance works with Steve at S-II.  We called him the Black version of Steve because he's just a big teddy bear and has a very similar personality as Steve!
This is the infamous Christmas sweater.  Kathie sewed on all the stuffed animals and jingle bells.  Steve wore it to his company Christmas party, and it made another appearance at Drinksmas!  As Mary said, "That's aggressive!"  Possibly my favorite quote from the night.
Too sexy for his shades.
Cute!
Crazy!
JD and Me!  Doesn't he kinda look like Woody Harrelson?
Mary and me!
Below are the pictures I stole from Charline's blog.  It's ok, she stole mine too!  We share!
This is the funniest picture taken all night!
Laura and CK
Justin and Tim, two super handy firefighters!
Wow...what a trio!
Zach, we're glad you rallied!!

Well, another great year of friends!
