Last Basketball Game of the Season

Today was Riley and Steve's last basketball game of the season.  We actually had a double-header...a bit much for 3 and 4 year olds, but they did a great job!  We sure had fun watching the progress the kiddos made with basic basketball skills.  They were super cute and worked so hard!

Busy Weekend!

We've had a great, busy weekend!  A few highlights:

We started out Friday night at the King house celebrating Justin's birthday.  Riley brought along Copper, his class' bear.  It's his turn to bring him home for a few days, and tomorrow we'll write about Copper's adventures with our family.
King-a-ling blowing out his candles.
Carter hanging with the gang.
Not sure what to think about this... :)
Saturday morning Riley had an 8 a.m. basketball game.  Copper didn't even get dressed!  But Riley played well!
Some warm-up drills.
Saturday night we took Gran-Gran and General, plus the Kings, Lanes and H to the Mammoth game in the Suite.  Owen and Rick came up and joined us from their seats.

The Kings know how to rock.
Me-n-Beeee!
I just love this picture.

B trying to get on the Jumbotron during the Dance Cam bit.  There was a large group of high-schoolers in the suite as well, who were at first horrified, then laughed hysterically and took pics with their phones!

Dad taught the boys how to catch popcorn in their mouths!
The boys got mohawks courtesy of Steve.
On Sunday we headed over to the Downtown Aquarium.
And Copper came too, of course!
Petting the stingrays.
Happy baby!

Big shark!
Carter wanted to take some pictures too!
Mama and her boys!
Time to go home...

Mr. Big Shot!

I can't believe my Carter-Bug is 6 months old already!  He is such a sweet little boy, just like his big brother was.  Check out my littlest man and his Buddha belly.  He's so proud of himself, sitting up and showing off!

The toe!

Love the face!
Daddy's making him laugh!

Girls' Night Out!

Last weekend I went out with the girls from work for dinner at the Rio and to see the movie "He Just Not That Into You."  It was such a fun night!  Haven't done that in a really long time.  Dinner was fabulous...it's been so long since I've been to the Rio for margaritas, they've added MANGO to their menu.  Wooohoo!  Delightful.  The movie was cute...I could relate in some way to just about all the women in the movie, and it was pretty funny.  Also, in our group was the full spectrum of ladies in the various life scenarios - single, dating, newly married, married for a long time, married with kiddos and without, , so it was neat to all go together.  Not a cinematic masterpiece, but fun entertainment.

The best part, though, was just hanging with the ladies!  Silly, fun girls!

Meg HATES pics of herself!  This is too hilarious.

There was a lady sitting near us with a hideous red and gold-lamee scarf which she had tied in a giant bow right under her chin.  Meg was beside herself.  So Charline mocked her!

Double fisting it...classy!
Brittani and Kristen!
Stacey and Monica
We were either laughing hysterically at the girl in the sweater cape, the couple on their first date, the table of people dressed (purposefully) as rednecks, the lady with the Christmas bow, or the painting of Jimi Hendrix behind us.
The old lady with the two young 'uns!

Can't wait to go out with the ladies again!
