Riley and I have started a new tradition. Back to School Date Day! Tomorrow he goes back to school and I go back to work, so we spent our last day of summer break hanging out. We set out to go to the Denver Children's Museum, but ended up going to the Downtown Aquarium instead. We checked out the fish, otters, tigers, and ended the day with lunch in the restaurant. He's a pretty good date!
At the entrance plaza they have a huge bubble machine that was making millions of bubbles!
This river otter was adorable! He did about 30 backflips over and over again. Riley and another little girl were beside themselves, they thought it was so funny! I've always loved otters, they have puppy faces and they're so playful and mischevious. I took a little video of the otter gymnastics, I'm trying to figure out how to link it on here, so stay tuned!
This was a tropical reef. Riley loved the "Nemo" and "Dorry" fish!
They have at least 3 gorgeous tigers here too! This one was just getting ready for his nap.
