And then there were SIX!

Grandchildren, that is!  Brad and Nicole's triplets arrived today at 3:04, 3:05 and 3:06 p.m.!  Peyton Faye (Faye was Mamaw's name -- Rick's mother), Gavin Cole(As in NiCOLE), and Dalton Craig (named after their Uncle Steven Craig) are all doing great, and so is Nicole!  And I'm an idiot.  When we finally got to go back to see the babies, I left my camera in the waiting room!  But we'll be back to visit in a day or two, and I promise pictures soon!  They're adorable!  Owen is super excited to be a big brother, too!

Where do I start?

Charline and Justin had a Halloween party Saturday night, so we headed over in our costumed best.  Next weekend we are going to an 80's themed Halloween party, so we went ahead and gave a preview of next week's debacle.

Steve went as Richard Simmons.  I bedazzled a tank top and painted glittery stripes on some women's shorts.  Add the bright white velcro sneaks, tube top socks and afro wig, and you're Sweatin' to the Oldies!
There really aren't words...it's just a good thing Steve is secure in his manhood and I'm not easily embarrassed!
Sexy

A Dick and a prick...sorry mom!

Nuts/arm rest.
Sarah Palin made an appearance!
I don't think they have Bud Light Lime in Neverland!
Jenn and Nick were a walking Public Service Announcement.
Self-Portrait time!  BFFs!
Sterne got happy and hijacked the penis costume.  Then proceeded to attack H!

Punkin Pickin'

It's become a bit of a tradition to go to the pumpkin patch to pick out our Halloween pumpkins with Keith and Holli.  This year we went before Keith and Holli babysat the boys while we went to Charline and Justin's Halloween party.  We went to a little place nearby that had pumpkins, hayrides, jumpy castles and other fun stuff.  It was a perfect autumn day and we picked out some good pumpkins!  Thanks Keith and Holli!
Off to find a pumpkin!

My attempt at artistic baby photography.  At least Carter's got a good sense of humor!
Yay, fall!

Trick or Trunk 2008

Once again this year Glacier Peak held its annual Trick or Trunk event for the community.  This year seemed to be an even bigger crowd than usual, which was great!

Here are some pics:

Come to Marsh Mountain!

I'm so excited! Today we put our first "real" post on our class blog! Check it out by clicking on the title of the post, "Ancestral Puebloan Poetry" on the blog list located on the right side of the screen. If you click on the name of the blog, "Marsh Mountain" it will take you to a login page -- I don't know why. So don't do it. Seriously.

Weekend at Quarters One

Last weekend we spent a beautiful couple of days up at Quarters One.  The four of us headed up Friday after work, and the Lanes, Kings and Zach met up with us on Saturday.  The weather was gorgeous, and everyone loved spending time in our little slice of heaven!
Carter was cozy in his puppy outfit.  He looked too adorable!
Saturday morning before everyone got there, we took Riley over to the kid's pond to fish.  Riley's getting really good at casting!
We didn't have much luck, so Steve took Ri down to the river by the bridge, where they caught 2 rainbows.
When everyone arrived, they couldn't believe how beautiful it was up there!  The boys geared up to go fishing on the outskirts of the property.
It's been a long time since Justin did any fishing, so he engaged in a little pre-fishing stretching.
The guys didn't have any luck, so we went down by the bridge to show them all the fish, including the golden trout down there.  We brought Riley's pole and let Riley fish a little bit, but he wasn't too interested in fishing, he just wanted to catch fish in the net.
The Kings!
The Lanes!
Beautiful.
Riley did succeed in catching himself!
Contemplative fishermen.
Chillin' by the river.
Sticks are plentiful up there!
Zachie's Angels.
A little pre-dinner shot.  Even JK joined in!
Brandon and Charline get ready to saute up some asparagus.  We had a great dinner of grilled chicken, red potatoes and 6 bundles of asparagus!  Justin King was the grill man of the weekend!
After dinner it was time to get into jammies and play some games.
Steve had a special surprise for everyone...

And the reaction shot...Zach looks a little horrified.

Always good for a belly laugh!
After "Horses," it was family chill time.  Knitting, reading, watching football.  Big happy family!

On Sunday morning we headed back out to the perimeter to try fishing again, but had no luck.  This was the walk back to the car.  You can see the bare trees from the Hayman Fire that nearly reached the river.
What a gang!  We sure are glad we have such good friends to share the weekend with!
