Lunch in the Garden of Eden

Yesterday Jennifer and Phil invited Riley, Charline and I over to their beautiful home for lunch. Their backyard is paradise, with "only" 63 rosebushes, and all kinds of other flowers, including snapdragons that have popped up in every nook and cranny possible. We had a really nice afternoon visiting and watching Riley explore the garden and meet Jenn and Phil's critters. He became fast friends with their dog, Daisy, and tried to read a book to their cat, Pete, who really wasn't all that interested.

Charline shows Riley how snapdragons can talk!

A gorgeous Rose of Sharon...I'm going to plant a few of these in my yard!

Just one of the many beautiful rosebushes of every color imaginable.

Jennifer and Riley visit the ladybug who lives among the daisies.

Nature boy! With his clump of moss that he found growing between the flagstones.

Riley's amateur photography. Here's a portrait of Charline, and below, his attempt at abstracts. We call it "Moss in the Rocks."

We had a great day!

That was such a nice afternoon. Is RIley available to do some head shots for me? Maybe he should have a photography show at Geez Louise! He's got a pretty decent portfolio!
