Today we met up with Julie, Ty and Tanner at the Thornton City Pool. It's the coolest pool around! There is a zero-depth entry, spouts and sprinklers, a little slide, and tube slides! The boys had an absolute blast!
This picture below is priceless. Riley's been bugging me all summer about getting some goggles so he can go underwater. I told him I'd get him some if he does a good job in swim lessons, which start next week, but Julie (always super-prepared!) had an extra pair in her bag. Julie always has extra of everything, she's the bomb! Riley was SO excited. Although he didn't go "under" the water. He's all talk...
Once the goggles and water wings were in place, off they went. They reminded me of little lobsters the way they were using their arms to get around in the 8 inches of water.

Riley's starting to get more confident in the water, but he definitely does not like to put his face in. He went down the little slide right when we arrived, because he was following the twins, but where they know how to land on their feet at the bottom of the slide, he went shooting out and landed on his butt. It freaked him out a little to be under the water, and he wasn't quite sure what to do. He didn't go back on the slide this time, but maybe next time!

I'm missing on too much. Riley looks adorable, and those twins really know how to enjoy life.

Oh man. are they all too cute? The Monkey in goggles is my favorite picture. Perhaps some day he will be rockin a speedo like his dad!
